The West Orange-Stark Game

West Orange-Stark has an outstanding football team. They got on us early with the first drive, and then they blocked a punt. We got behind early 14-0 within just a few minutes of the first quarter. From that time on, I thought our team started coming together; they grew up a bunch. It ended up 12-0 at halftime. The second half we sustained some good drives. We got inside the 30 three times.

I really feel good about our team because, even though we lost 28-0, I feel like our team made some progress. I feel real good about our opportunity to make the playoffs.

The TJ Game

TJ has a lot of team speed. They're an aggressive, attacking, all out blitz defensive club. They will send inside backers, outside backers, 7 guys at one time. Offensively, they're real explosive. Their tailback James Johnson is a quality back. We'll have to rally around and swarm him.

It will be fun to play a home game at the Reservation. It will be fun for our players. TJ is an old rival, has been for years. I'm sure it will be an exciting game for the fans.

Defensive Leaders

     Defensive leaders against WO-S were:

DE Tony Pecorino--5 unassisted tackles, 2 assists

DT Jeremy Davis--7 unassisted tackles, 1 assist, 1 tackle for loss

SS Brady Flores--5 unassisted tackles, 2 assists

FS Keegan Swann--4 unassisted tackles, 1 interception, 1 deflected pass
